Hello,
running my IC-271h with a preamp from SSB-Elektronik,
i had the problem that in the FM-mode the power came
before the preamp had switched
and so the TRX activated the bad-swr-mode.
Due to this reason i had to delay the TX-power,
i used the MUTE-wire to do whis.

this should also run with IC-471 and IC-1271.
if you get oszillation C2 is too small
(if MUTE is low T8V can't be 8V !).
